Andrea Elser

Grade 7 Math/Science
Andrea Elser holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied and Environmental Geology from the University of Calgary, a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia, and a Masters of Mathematics for Teachers from the University of Waterloo. Ms. Elser has been teaching mathematics and science since 2015, and has taught students from grade 5 to grade 12. Ms. Elser wants every student to feel belonging in the classroom and see themselves as mathematicians and scientists. One of the highlights of the year is when she volunteers to help mark the Euclid, Fryer, Gallois and Hypatia math contests. When she’s not at school, Ms. Elser loves spending time with her family, cuddling her dog Hugo, reading, sewing, and planning her family’s next road trip! |
