Megan McKinlay has been with CGCS since 2021. She has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa, specializing in science, health and physical education, and special education. Megan has experience teaching students in post-secondary to upper elementary grades. She worked in public health promotion and health communication prior to returning to the classroom. She brings a passion for student wellbeing, movement, gender equity, and using technology creatively for learning. Her philosophy centers around building strong relationships, active exploration in learning, and having some fun along the way. When she’s not in the classroom, you might find her playing with her daughter, cozying up with a good book and a tea, seeking culinary experiences, or on her yoga mat.
