Jordanna Jones holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary with a major in political science and a minor in history, and a Master of Teaching degree from the University of Toronto. Before joining the CGCS team Ms. Jones worked as a division 3 humanities teacher in Kelowna, British Columbia, and as special education teacher for division 4 students with diverse learning needs in Calgary. Ms. Jones believes in using tools such as goal setting and purposeful reflection to encourage students’ intrinsic motivation. She seeks to develop an inclusive, warm, and nurturing classroom environment while maintaining high expectations.
