Ashley Jensen has over 11 years of experience in the field of accounting and is most recently working as an audit and assurance manager for western Canada based accounting firm, Crowe MacKay LLP.

Ashley earned her Chartered Accountant designation in 2013 and has since passionately pursued a career in public practice accounting. Her specialty is in providing corporate audit and assurance services for compliance purposes, with many of her clients being not-for-profit organizations, including several education providers. In addition to her role as an audit manager, she is also involved with women’s initiatives and the recruitment and training of CPA articling students at her firm.

As part of the CGCS Board, Ashley hopes to help in any way she can to positively impact the education of young women and girls. She believes in the importance of giving back to the community and is an advocate for helping our future female leaders develop the skills and foundation necessary to be successful.

When she is not practicing accounting, Ashley enjoys travelling; some of her favourite destinations have included London, Greece, Italy and the Oregon coast. She is also a fitness enthusiast and enjoys hot yoga, gym training, taking her two dogs to the park and snowboarding.
